1. Who we are
Ledobiz Technologies Limited ("Ledobiz", "we", "us") is a software development company registered in Nigeria under RC 8302795. Our registered office is at Plot 2, Road K, 7th Avenue, Rofo Estate, Ikorodu, Lagos State, and we also have an office at 6, Wilson Estate, Asore Town, Ajuwon, Ifo, Ogun State. We decide how the personal data described in this policy is used.
For any privacy question, contact us at hello@ledobiz.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you and deliver our services:
- Quote requests: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company, and your project details, budget range, currency and timeline.
- Conversations: emails, messages and call notes when you contact us or work with us.
- Client records: billing contacts, invoices and contracts.
- Website usage: IP address and browser and device type, used to keep the website secure and to check that quote requests come from people rather than automated bots.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote or proposal.
- Deliver, support and invoice the projects you sign up for.
- Keep our website and systems secure, and improve them.
- Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- Send you news about our services, but only if you have agreed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Our legal basis
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, for visitors in the UK and EU, the GDPR, we rely on: your consent; steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, such as preparing a quote; performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business; and compliance with the law.
5. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, email and payment providers, and Cloudflare, which checks quote requests for automated spam, under contracts that protect your data.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers store data outside Nigeria. When data leaves Nigeria, the UK or the EU, we use providers with recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, as the law requires.
7. How long we keep it
- Quote requests that do not become projects: [24] months, then deleted.
- Client project and contract records: for the length of our relationship plus [6] years.
- Financial records: as long as tax law requires.
8. How we protect it
We use encryption in transit, access controls, strong authentication and regular security reviews — the same practices we apply to our clients’ software. Only staff who need your data to do their job can access it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Object to, or restrict, how we use it.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
To use these rights, email hello@ledobiz.com. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) or your local data protection authority.
10. Cookies
We only use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for the website to work and stay secure. When you request a quote, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a short check to confirm you are not an automated bot; it may read basic browser and device signals for that purpose only. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website may then stop working.
11. Data we process for clients
When we build or host software for a client, any personal data inside that software belongs to the client. We process it only on their instructions and under our agreement with them. If you are a user of one of our clients’ products, please contact that client first.
12. Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not aimed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell clients by email.
